Our Story
CleanStart Manitoba is a division of Purpose Construction, created to deliver high-quality property services while building a more inclusive workforce. Together, we believe that every junk removal and cleaning job is also an opportunity to create meaningful employment for people facing barriers.
How We Started
Purpose Construction has long been recognized for its innovative approach to combining trades training and inclusive employment in Manitoba. With a deep commitment to creating pathways for underrepresented communities—including Indigenous people, newcomers, and individuals transitioning from the justice system—Purpose sought to expand its impact by bringing professional property services into its suite of offerings.
In 2025, Purpose Construction launched CleanStart Manitoba in partnership with CleanStart Property Services, a respected BC-based social enterprise known for doing “Difficult Done Right.” This partnership brings CleanStart’s decade of experience in socially responsible service delivery into the Purpose Construction model—resulting in a new division that blends social mission with operational excellence.
